Maths Lecturer

Job Description

Starrycare is recruiting a full-time Maths Lecturer to join North Lindsey College. This role involves teaching GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to a diverse range of students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mathematics, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students at GCSE and Functional Skills levels.
Prepare and develop high-quality teaching materials that meet the needs of all learners.
Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.
Support students in achieving their educational goals through individualized instruction and guidance.
Participate in curriculum development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Maths department.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Maths at GCSE and/or Functional Skills level.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to improving student outcomes.
