Starrycare is looking for a meticulous and experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to ensure the highest standards of assessment, compliance, and quality across our training and education programs. As an IQA, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal quality assurance activities across various qualifications and subjects.
  • Monitor assessors to ensure assessments meet awarding body and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and validate assessment decisions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Provide feedback, guidance, and training to assessors to support their professional development.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of IQA activities and decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external awarding body standards.
  • Prepare for and facilitate external quality assurance visits or audits.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for quality improvement in assessments and teaching practices.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Recognized Internal Quality Assurance qualification (e.g., Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice or equivalent).
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in the subject areas being quality assured.
  • Strong understanding of assessment and quality assurance principles.
  • Proven experience as an IQA within education or training settings.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to assessors.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Familiarity with awarding body requirements and regulatory frameworks.

We are looking to hire a dedicated and efficient chef to assist in all activities pertaining to catering. To be successful as a catering assistant, you should demonstrate a sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations to ensure the safety of service users.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Performing basic food preparation tasks, which include washing, peeling, and cutting fruit and vegetables, seasoning, and slicing meats, and preparing sauces and salads.

• Clearing and cleaning tables

• Cleaning of crockery and cutlery

• Preparation of sandwiches ad rolls

• Preparation of basic salads

• Service of food to customers

• Replenish food displays

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area

Skills Required:

• Basic qualification in food hygiene/food preparation or proof of satisfactory and certified in house training

• Proven experience working in the catering industry.
