- Performing basic food preparation tasks, which include washing, peeling, and cutting fruit and vegetables, seasoning, and slicing meats, and preparing sauces and salads.
- Clearing and cleaning tables
- Cleaning of crockery and cutlery
- Preparation of sandwiches ad rolls
- Preparation of basic salads
- Service of food to customers
- Replenish food displays
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area
Skills Required: - Basic qualification in food hygiene/food preparation or proof of satisfactory and certified in house training
- Proven experience working in the catering industry.
- A food handler’s license.
- Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations
To be successful, you’ll need to have: - Previous experience in the catering industry
- A real passion for hospitality and delivering great service
- Able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- Team player and able to work in busy environments
- Understanding of all shop management roles
