Key Responsibilities

The Curriculum Manager plays a key role in the development and presentation of modules and qualifications. Curriculum managers deliver effective project management and are responsible for moving projects forward, ensuring that modules and projects are delivered on time, to expected quality standards and to budget, and that Programme and University policy and procedures are followed. They also provide essential administrative functions that support business-as-usual activities for curriculum in presentation and are a key point of liaison between the module team, qualification team, the rest of the University/ College students and others external to the University/ College

To define and communicate a vision for the curriculum area
Review success rates and learner leaving points and address weaknesses in course content
Approach, design, create and re-design of curriculum with a fresh and creative eye including creation of workshop materials and recordings
Use different methods of delivery including utilizing systems and packages
Create engaging training course content (videos, quizzes and activities)
Research and recommend modern educational methods
Contribute to standardization calendar to ensure best practice is shared and methods of delivery match and meet the requirements of the curriculum
Undertake data analysis relating to curriculums to support in reporting and refreshing of curriculums where appropriate
Ensure that curriculums/ programmes provide appropriate stretch and challenge for learners, and are pitched at the right level
Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure continuity of assessment and the completion of learner qualifications
Remain up to date with industry practice and ensure curriculums showcase these 

Role Requirements & Experience/ Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is required preferably in education or any other related field
demonstrable experience of teaching related courses
Ability to anticipate and analyze problems, propose workable solutions, manage and resolve conflict
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interpret policy and disseminate information effectively to a wide range of audiences.
