Job Description

As an Electrical Installation Lecturer at Starrycare, you will deliver high-quality instruction and support a caseload of students. You will foster a caring, inclusive, and innovative learning environment that promotes equality and respect.

Responsibilities:
Act as a Programme Tutor for full-time/part-time students.
Deliver effective teaching and tutorials, integrating new learning technologies.
Maintain student morale and discipline, collaborating with college managers.
Accurately record and report data, including assessments and student progress.
Keep teaching files updated with schemes of work, lesson plans, and progress tracking.
Stay updated with academic/vocational subjects and industry trends.
Promote safeguarding, equality, and diversity within the learning environment.

Qualifications:
Essential:
Relevant Electrical Installation qualification at Level 3.
Minimum Level 2 in Maths and English.
Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum and quality frameworks.
Proven high standard of teaching skills or potential to achieve outstanding teaching.
Competent in using resources to provide a stimulating learning environment.
Effective in managing behavior and motivating students.
Commitment to achieving high standards for all students.
Excellent team-working, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
Commitment to promoting equality and diversity.

Desirable:
Recognized teaching qualification.
Assessor/IQA qualification or willingness to work towards it.
Full driving license.
