Job Description
Working as part of a dedicated team to offer an outstanding HR service for the College and delivery of the Workforce Strategy. You will be responsible for leading and advising and supporting on all HR activities falling within designated areas of the College in line with the Department’s organisational objectives and ensure a high level of professionalism is maintained.
The primary duties, tasks and responsibilities of this job role are to;
1. Building a strong relationship with managers to support the effective implementation of
HR policies and procedures, developing a culture of supportive and challenging
leadership across the organisation.
2. Coordinating the recruitment, selection, induction and probation processes and
supporting managers to ensure these are followed and strategies implemented to
achieve the appointment of staff, particularly for “hard to fill” vacancies.
3. Advising and supporting managers with absence management cases, leading on
process, Occupational Health referrals and written accounts of reviews to ensure staff and management are clear on the process.
Qualifications
Hold full/part CIPD qualification, Degree HNC/HND or equivalent level qualification or considerable HR experience
IT Skills – able to use word, excel, e-mail and internet to a competent level
Level 2 English & Maths
