Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons on various aspects of travel and tourism, including operations, management, and customer service.
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and industry expectations.
- Assess and evaluate students’ coursework, projects, and assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate real-world examples into lessons.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Support students in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the travel and tourism industry.
- Participate in curriculum development and quality assurance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Travel and Tourism or a related field (Level 3 or higher).
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
- Industry experience in travel and tourism is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and classroom management abilities.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to pursue careers in travel and tourism.
- Ability to stay updated on industry developments and apply them in teaching.
