Job Description

Knowledge, skills and abilities
• Knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
• Ability to use appropriately a range of teaching and learning strategies for whole classes, individuals and groups which stimulate and challenge pupils.
• Ability to differentiate tasks appropriately
• Ability to set clear and appropriate targets, feed back to pupils and make effective use of assessment to promote progress.
• Up-to-date ICT skills to enhance teaching & learning.
• Ability to work as part of an effective team showing enthusiasm, adaptability and flexibility.
• Willingness to participate in the additional activities of the
• school, including extra-curricular activities.
