Job Description
The Spanish Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in the Spanish language to students. The primary objective is to foster a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes the acquisition of Spanish language skills, cultural understanding, and a passion for language learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive and effective Spanish language curriculum that aligns with relevant standards and educational goals.
Instruction: Conduct engaging and interactive Spanish language classes, incorporating various teaching methods, technologies, and resources to cater to diverse learning styles.
Assessment: Assess students’ language proficiency regularly through tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback and tracking their progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Teaching certification or licensure in Spanish or a related field.
Fluent in both spoken and written Spanish.
Strong passion for teaching and promoting language learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Classroom management and organizational skills.
Experience:
Previous teaching experience, preferably in a similar role.
Experience with diverse student populations is a plus.
Experience in curriculum development and assessment methods.
