Starrycare is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Temporary Animal Management Lecturer to join our team. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and training to students pursuing studies in Animal Management. You will inspire and support learners to achieve their academic and career aspirations while maintaining a stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in Animal Management.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Develop lesson plans and resources tailored to curriculum requirements and student needs.
- Ensure health and safety compliance in all practical activities involving animals.
- Act as a mentor, guiding and supporting students through their learning journey.
- Contribute to the review and development of the Animal Management curriculum.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and incorporate them into teaching practices.
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Animal Management or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
- Relevant experience working with a variety of animal species.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Experience in teaching or training is desirable but not essential.
